Dr. Chapagain is the co-founder and program director of Sharecast Initiative Nepal, with 20+ years of experience in research and broadcast journalism. He has managed 70+ studies on media, governance, socio-economics, and health. His expertise in leading and managing research enables him to oversee research projects, analyze data, develop strategies, and ensure ethical compliance at SCIN. He holds a Ph.D. in FM radio’s role in promoting Nepali culture, a master’s degree in population and development studies, and a diploma in development leadership from COADY International Institute/St. Francis Xavier University, and a course on Broadcast Management from RNTC/Netherlands.
